Mickey Rooney, 85 along with Dick Van Dyke, 80 have joined the cast of Night at the Museum starring the one and only Ben Stiller. What role are they to play you ask? They are to play the villains. That’s right, the villains. Van Dyke hasn’t made a real movie(by real movie, I mean not for TV) since 1990. Rooney hasn’t made a movie since Babe 2.
I know you’re thinking that this can’t be, Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn has got to be playing the villain. As hard as it is to believe, they aren’t, the old fogies are. In this movie….
Stiller’s character discovers a magical pharaoh’s tablet, but Van Dyke, playing the head of security who has worked at the museum for nearly 50 years, wants the tablet so that he can stay young. Rooney is his colleague who, with Cobbs, helps Van Dyke’s character with his nefarious schemes.
Sounds like a doozy.
